Higher Education provides information and financial assistance to full-time and part-time post-secondary students interested in a two (2) year Associate of Arts (AA)/Associate of Science (AS)/Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or a four (4) year Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) degree at an accredited institution.
Eligibility requirements include proof of tribal affiliation with a BBNA compacting tribe who is at least ¼ degree Indian, Eskimo or Aleut blood descendant of a member of a tribe who has an authorizing resolution to BBNA; High School diploma or GED; enrollment in an Accredited Institution for an academic program leading to a degree; and proof of financial need.
Deadlines to apply are the same each year: Applications must be received by the deadline, not postmarked by the deadline. Faxed and emailed applications may be accepted but it is the student’s responsibility to ensure faxes and emails are received.
Fall funding deadline is the Last Friday in July.
Spring funding deadline is the First Friday in January.

- Financial Aid Budget Need Sheet – Must be completed by Student and a Financial Aid Officer
