Natural Resources Director
$21.34 – $29.34 / hr.

This position will provide a professional growth opportunity while working directly with Natural Resources program staff, including Environmental, Marine Mammals, Subsistence Fisheries, Subsistence and Brownfields in securing grant resources, and carrying out administrative and current project obligations.
License / Certification: Current valid Alaska Driver’s License/eligible for BBNA driver’s insurance. Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent and formal higher education and/or experience such as an Associate in Applied Business, Alaska Native Studies, Rural Development, Northern Studies or Natural Sciences degree, four years of progressive experience with demonstrated ability performing the duties and responsibilities described below. Important attributes and abilities include: cultural sensitivity; familiarity with Bristol Bay area, people, cultures and resources; independence in accomplishing detailed tasks; strong writing and verbal skills, potential for advancing into a more responsible role in grant related responsibilities including budgets, grant research and project management; excellent communication skills. Computer skills. Keyboard, MS programs, e-mail/internet. Complete achievement of certain of the above specifications may not be required if, in the opinion of BBNA a particular candidate possesses significant offsetting characteristics, such as past accomplishments, experience, education, or estimate of future potential.
