Provide clerical and program support that is essential for the smooth flow of Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (Tribal TANF), General Assistance (GA), and Low Income Heating and Energy Assistance (LIHEAP) operations such as incoming communications, answering questions about program functions, helping provide easy access to services, documentation requirements, and keeping equipment operational.
Candidates must demonstrate their ability to accomplish the Essential Job Results stated below.
High School Diploma/GED and two years of similar office experience preferably in a Human Services setting and proficiency using computer database programs and word processing. Requires background clearance check including fingerprints. A completed background check and determination that the applicant meets the eligibility criteria of the Alaska Barrier Crimes Act are prerequisites to hiring. Familiarity with Bristol Bay area, people, and culture. License/Certification: Current valid Alaska Driver’s License and liability insurance.
