This position works closely with BBNA’s Benefits Specialist helping with functions related to employee benefits, such as processing check requests for HRA payments, reconciliation of insurance billings, benefit assignments and updates, data entry, filing, and a variety of other related activities. Support all of BBNA’s employee benefit plans with attention to detail and in accordance with BBNA’s policy on confidentiality.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to accomplish the Essential Job Results in the detailed job description. Please ask for a copy. Experience and/or Education: High school diploma and preferably two years of experience or formal education in a related field. Familiarity with accounting software, benefits in payroll functions, performing reconciliations, and maintaining an organized filing system. Attributes: Demonstrated willingness to learn & increase knowledge in this field. The ability to pay strict attention to detail and accuracy is a must. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees and agencies. Computer Skills: Keyboard, e-mail/internet, MS programs, preferably strength using Excel. Ability to learn Great Plains finance software functions. Familiarity with Bristol Bay area, people, and cultures.
