High School Diploma/GED. Must be at least 18 years of age. Alaska Native students from Bristol Bay and St. Lawrence Island communities that are interested in the field of biological sciences, natural resources, and archeology are strongly encouraged to apply. Must submit two (2) professional Letters of Reference. Candidates who are familiar with the region, climate, people, and cultures of Bristol Bay and the Bering Sea are preferred. Essential: Physical ability to walk and climb from three to six miles daily, perform heavy lifting, and endure inclement weather while performing monitoring duties. First Aide/CPR and Field Safety Training will be conducted by ADF&G, USFWS and/or BBNA staff. Willingness / ability to live in a remote camp. Must abide by host field protocols. Demonstrated ability to understand and perform duties as described in job description.
