Natural Resources Student Intern - Partners for Fisheries Monitoring: This internship will provide on the job training for a student of Natural Resources, fisheries biology or related field. The intern will assist designing, conducting and administering subsistence fisheries monitoring research projects. Assist in collecting/entering data on the subsistence fishery. Perform other related duties and activities as directed by the Subsistence Fisheries Biologist. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in post secondary educational program in natural Resources, fisheries biology or related science field. Prefer one year of post secondary college education or training in field. Demonstrated interest in fisheries of rural areas. Willingness to learn. Experience in word and data entry software. Ability to work independently, follow directions and organize materials in a timely manner. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Wage $15.00 per hour with a weekly stipend of $150.00. Reports to Subsistence Fisheries Biologist. Duty station: Dillingham. Temporary May - August 2004. Close March 31, 2004. environmental program for the village of Ekuk. Also implement the work
plan in the Indian General Assistance program (IGAP) grant. Required qualifications
include: High school graduate or equivalent. Must have strong interpersonal
skills and enjoy working with people at a grass-roots level. Computer
literacy required. Solid verbal and written communication skills very
important. Must be willing and able to travel frequently in and out of
region. Demonstrated abilities: Strong interest and desire to learn about
environmental issues and related health concerns. Ability to work independently
with minimum supervision. Ability to prioritize, organize & complete

Levelock - Tribal Children's Service Worker: By using advanced knowledge and training, TCSW's seek to optimize the home environment for the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of children by acting as a liaison between Tribe and State Social Services and other resources, recruit foster care homes, child care needs assessments in community, paperwork assistance, home visits, monthly meeting with supervisor, maintain records, crisis intervention, provide family and children's activities. Qualifications include: High School diploma or GED. Completion/enrollment in Child Development Associate certificate or degree program. Must be able to obtain CDA within two years of hire date. Works under supervision of the Head Start Director and in collaboration with the Policy Council Representatives, Center Committee members, and other Central Office Staff.
