Provides individualized case management for developmentally disabled persons of all ages, starting at birth age. Services are based on assessed needs of the individual and family. Additional services include respite care assistance, information and referral, paperwork assistance, advocacy services and limited transportation. Anyone who is disabled may use the ride service. Van is wheelchair lift equipped and includes straps. Subject to availability of vehicle.

Air Lifeline offers free air travel for those with medical or emergency need that cannot afford transportation and their insurance won’t cover the travel expenses. Documentation of need is required. Call or Email for more information. 

Alzheimer’s Association: Alaska Chapter 1-800-478-1080

A Statewide program funded by the Alaska Commission on Aging, the Alzheimer’s Association provides in-home care for people with Alzheimer’s disease or related disorders and the frail elderly. Respite service provides family caregivers with a break, time out or simply a rest from the stresses of 24-hour care giving.
